Request a Building Assessment

Send us the address. Within two business days you will have a written determination of whether the building is covered, its eligible area, the incentive it can expect, and our fee. There is no charge and no obligation.

Please include the building address (and the Washington State Department of Commerce Building ID if you received a notification letter), the building's use, and your name and role. For a portfolio, a list of addresses is all we need to begin.

What happens next

  1. We determine coverage and eligible area from the records the Department of Commerce relies on.
  2. You receive a one-page written assessment: covered or not, expected incentive, our fee, and timing.
  3. If you proceed, a short engagement letter designates one of our Qualified Energy Managers as the lead for the building, and our team takes it from there.
Timing. The Department of Commerce processes applications in the order received and expects roughly 15,000 before the July 1, 2027 deadline. Owners who begin now file while the fund is full and the queue is short.
